Today I caught up with 3 girlfriends for brunch - one which I have known since the start of high school, one since I started primary school and the other who I also lived in the same street in as a child (30 years). As we were chatting away, totally at different places in our lives - it struck me that it is quite amazing to have these long-term friendships. In fact most of my friends are long-term people from primary or secondary school (25 years+). Although we are all still busy with our own lives, work, kids, moving to different houses etc. we have all made the effort to keep in touch. I have made new friends too - those people I actually have more in common with NOW but it is nice to have those links and friendships from school and childhood.

Short update tonight........ had long day.

Been to a camera course today and learnt how much I don't know about my camera :P Looks like hard work! Going back to auto might be an option lol

Picked up Charlotte from the airport tonight back from her trip to Sydney - how many other 5 year-olds get to go for a weekend away in Sydney with their grandparents? Out for dinner, Darling Harbour, Luna Park, and Zoo.......mmm spoilt.

Day #2

Yes, I'm here......omg. A clean desk and all supplies away. Had to get a picture because it's a RARE occurance! (and Kathy made me!)

                     

If anyone knows how to make the images bigger, can you let me know?

Anyway, I am actually going to SCRAP now lol and looking forward to a camera course tomorrow :) (would be good to know how to use the thing - probably would help if I read the manual!)

And I have a bunch of other stuff to get started on for classes etc. Busy, but fun busy!

Don't Faint

I'm back.

The past couple of months have just been a blur. Busy, sickness, and just generally not nice stuff.

So things are turning around! i've had some good stuff too - but can't remember any of that lol

So I am going to post EVERY DAY FOR A WEEK......at least a little something!

So I'm back. For now. I've been tagged umm 3 times from Celeste, Kathy & Sharmaine. lol Lucky it is all the same tag. PLus, some other random stuff in this post.

So tagged - 7 random facts:

1. I am obsessed with reality TV. The more trashy the better lol

2. I make lists (Nic will like this one). It keeps me organised and I get alot done. No list and I waste time.

3. I am the 'middle child'. Two boys above and two below me!

4. My best subjects in Year 12 where Maths & Chemistry! lol And I turned out to be a kinder teacher - I count to 10 and don't do alot of chemistry now!

5. I save $2 coins. It's an awesome way to save money without noticing - just keep a tin and every time you shop save them and put them aside. It mounts up quick and you dont notice!

6. I am hopeless at tags lol

7. I'm a jeans and trackies kinda girl.

Online Class

If anyone is interested I will be running an online class this Thursday night through the Simply Srapbooking classsroom. Check out the link for further details:

All you need is some basic tools and cardstock and you're all set! Ring the shop (or pop in to make payment). It's a pretty quick and easy (but effective) page and you can always print off the instructions and complete the LO another time!

Don't ya hate that? I just did a huge update post and lost it all. So the shortened version:

They call me Four Eyes

Yep, that's what I'll be by Tuesday. Apparently, I am vision impaired lol.....well I have a 'stigmatism'. Apparently, I've had it all my life. Apparently, I have suffered a long time. I need glasses. Maybe that will make the headaches and sore eyes go away. Go figure lol. So next time you see me I'll be much smarter - dont glasses make you smarter? hey, I might even be able to see you! I'm just scared my LO's might actually be straight now......I like them kind of leaning to one side?

See, See I'm Back!

WOW...totally stunned people actually READ my blog and COMMENT lol.....who would have known?

Although, this will be a quick one - up to my eyeballs - in 'stuff'. A quick share from FK #50.....not that you ever get paid or get a contributors copy for months and months....still waiting - is anyway else waiting for #50???

One from SC #39 - with it's real colour :P - they seem to take terrrible pics with the colour totally faded. And there was another page in SC but it was really ugly and cant find a pic of in anyway lol
